At Rock Your Chakras, we create stunning, self-awareness, reiki charged jewelry featuring beautiful semi-precious stones. We have an assortment of necklaces, malas (meditation beads), and bracelets. Each piece is hand crafted by Michele Ficano with love and compassion. We also make custom designed one of a kind pieces based on the buyers’ preference of stones, charms, and pendants. The beads in each piece are aligned with a specific chakra. Most people are attracted to a particular stone for a reason. Their intuition and self-awareness sync up and align to help pick the stone that they need at his particular time in their lives based on the associated chakra.
What are Chakras?

Chakra means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. They are spinning disks of energy that that correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being. There are seven main chakras that run along your spine. These are the chakras that most of us are referring to when we talk about them. Each of these seven main chakras has a corresponding number, name, color, specific area of the spine from the sacrum to the crown of the head, and health focus.
The 7 Chakras
Crown chakra
The crown chakra, or Sahasrara, is located at the top of your head. Your Sahasrara represents your spiritual connection to yourself, others, and the universe. It also plays a role in your life’s purpose.
Third Eye chakra
The third eye chakra, or Ajna, is located between your eyes. You can thank this chakra for a strong gut instinct. That’s because the third eye is responsible for intuition. It’s also linked to imagination.
Throat chakra
The throat chakra, or Vishuddha, is located in your throat. It includes your mouth, throat, ears, thyroid and parathyroid glands. This chakra has to do with our ability to communicate verbally, and how we listen.
Heart chakra
The heart chakra, or Anahata, is located near your heart, in the center of your chest. It includes the lungs and shoulders, as well. It comes as no surprise that the heart chakra is all about our ability to love and show compassion to others and to ourselves. If someone is experiencing a lack of joy, the heart chakra is affected.
Solar plexus chakra
The solar plexus chakra, or Manipura, is located in your stomach area. It’s responsible for confidence and self-esteem, as well as helping you feel in control of your life.
Sacral chakra
The sacral chakra, or Svadhisthana, is located just below your belly button. This chakra is responsible for your sexual and creative energy. It’s also linked to how you relate to your emotions as well as the emotions of others. It includes the hips and the urinary tract.
Root chakra
The root chakra, or Muladhara, is located at the base of your spine. It provides you with a base or foundation for life, and it helps you feel grounded and able to withstand challenges. Your root chakra is responsible for your sense of security and stability. It includes the legs and feet, as well as the lower back.
What Is Mala?
Malas are meditation/prayer beads, similar to rosary beads. They contain 108 beads, or a division of, such as 54 or 27. Why the number 108? One explanation is that (1) represents higher truth; (0) stands for emptiness or completeness, and (8) represents eternity or infinity. The single larger, guru or meru bead, represents the Eternal & is an additional bead. The contrasting additional spacer beads aids the heart & mind in focusing to become still & receptive & helps in keeping count. Malas can be used for spiritual practice or worn around the neck or wrist. The repetition of a mantra or prayer becomes a direct, active meditation. Held in one’s hands, a mala can help create a peaceful focus. They have been used for centuries by many great spiritual traditions. In the end, they are as universal as the loving heart.

What Is Reiki?
Each piece of jewelry is reiki charged by Michele Ficano, a reiki master in the Western Usui tradition, and a second level practitioner in Jikiden reiki, the original Japanese form of reiki. Reiki is a Japanese form of therapeutic touch that that promotes relaxation, restores our innate balance, and enhances the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
